I'm proud to announce that Alexia Rowe Makes Musicals is now open to writing services and music commissions, as well as (to limited availability) virtual assistance.
These services were inspired by the collaboration on the one-man musical We Need A Savior, a project that requested our playwriting expertise.
For writing, we're offering short skits for small businesses that wish to tell their story through the power of role-play, as well as other play formats like 10-minute plays, one-acts, and for established theatre companies, full-length plays. For student-run productions in high schools and colleges that have a well-funded Drama program, we're introducing our House Plays category where we will work with you to write a script to your specifications if the plays we currently carry in our store don't meet your needs. If you're performing our scripts publicly, your licensing prices will be determined by varying factors including ticket prices, commercial use, number of performances and the size of your theatre, among others. We will also be subject to royalties if you make an income.
For music, we can write sheet music for instrumental compositions, and transcribe a piece for you (from a project file so that we can see and hear each part individually). We're also offering recording a custom song for you, and if you wish to collaborate on a song you already wrote, we can provide voice and guitar features as well. If you're commissioning us to write songs for a musical theatre project, we will include recordings with our vocals, and sheet music. If you're performing our music publicly, your licensing prices will be determined by varying factors including ticket prices, commercial use, number of performances and the size of your performance venue, among others. We will also be subject to royalties if you make an income.
We're doing virtual assistance as well! We offer website design, project research and video editing, and if you're looking for grants to fund your next project, we can help you find the right program for you and if needed, help you with your application.
